ONLINE Transfer of Scholarship
The Post Matric Scholarship 2012-13 (Fresh & Renewal ) & Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2012-13 (Fresh & Renewal) amount for students who are selected is being transferred by the Department of Minorities by ONLINE mode directly to the account of the student mentioned by the student in the Application Form.
The College fee amount and the maintenance allowance amount both are transferred to the Student Account. Students are hereby inform to kindly check their Bank Account to know the status of their scholarship amount.
Directorate of Minorities is pleased to inform that students scoring 40% and above (64 marks and above) in the written test have been shortlisted for counselling as part of the final step in assessment of candidates for the Pre-Examination training for Minority candidates for UPSC/KPSC examination 2012-13.
Counseling will be held on Wednesday 26-Sep-2012 at 9:00 a.m.
1. Candidates are required to bring valid original photo ID, Two Photographs & Screening test admission ticket.
2. Candidates will be allowed to attend the counselling only if they have your admission ticket, which is being despatched through
speed post.
3. Counselling for all candidates will be completed on 26-Sep 2012 itself.
4. Priority in sequencing will be first given to candidates travelling from farthest locations.
5. Please bring the following documents in original and one photocopy of each for verification
(a) Income & Caste certificate showing that the applicant’s Parent’s/Guardian’s annual income does not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh per annum
(b) Final year Degree Marks Card and Degree/ Provisional Degree Certificate and
(c) 10th Standard Marks Card or any other document showing date of birth
6. Candidates are required to be at the location by 9:00 a.m. for registration. Those coming late will not be permitted to attend the counselling
7. Lunch will be served for counselling candidates at venue.
Important note to students applying for Post Matric Scholarship 2012-13
The Directorate of Minorities has been recieving " Post Matric Scholarship Application forms " in Hard copy format WHICH IS NOT THE RIGHT FORMAT OF APPLICATION. This year the complete Post Matric Scholarship process is ONLINE. Students have to logon to http://momascholarship.gov.in/postmatric/ and fill the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and from there take a printout of the filled ONLINE APPLICATION and send it to the Directorate of Minorities.
Students and parents are hereby informed to not fill any HARD COPY of POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FORMS as they are invalid and will not be accepted.

Principals are requested to furnish the details of their colleges in the following Proforma (Click here to download) Immediately for Office records & updating the details of the college in the ONLINE SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (OSMS) – POST MATRIC. Extension of date of Government of India Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities
In the notification dated 03.07.2012 calling for Government of India Pre-Matric Scholarship applications for Minorities and the last date was fixed as 31.07.2012, thus date extedned upto 04.08.2012 for submission of applications by the students to their respective Head Masters / Prinicpals.
The Head Master / Principals of all Primary / Secondary Schools (Government / Private / Aided) are hereby requested to collect Minority Pre-Matric Scholarship Forms from the studentsupto 04.08.2012and sunmit the same alongwith the details in prescribed format (format avialble in the office website www.gokdom.com) to their concerned BEOs on or before 14.08.2012.

Please read these updates before you proceed to view the list of selected students or download any document regarding Pre-Matric or Post-Matric Scholarship
For the kind notice of Students / Parents / School HM / Principal
For Pre-Matric Scholarship, the Directorate has re-introduced the Format-1 ( For students who already have a Bank account in a Bank with IFSC Code). Students / Parents / School HM / Principal are hereby informed to use this Format 1 if the student already has a Bank Account with IFSC Code. The Format 1 must be filled and sent to "Directorate of Minorities, 20th Floor, V.V. Towers, Bangalore-560001"
If the student does not have Bank Account with IFSC Code, such students can either open ZERO BALANCE NO FRILLS ACCOUNT with Syndicate Bank using Format 2 or open a Bank Account with IFSC Code near to their place and then fill the Format 1 and send it to the Directorate of Minorities.
The Directorate has started uploading the Renewal-Second List and Fresh-First List Block wise and District wise. Please click on the links given below in this page to view the selected students list.
In the selected students list, some schools names are not displayed, instead the DISE Code of the school with school address is displayed. School HM/Principal are requested to identify their school using the DISE code in case their school name is not mentioned in the Address.
It has been very clearly mentioned in the "Format-2" that there is no need to submit any address proof or identity proof documents of the student or parent to syndicate Bank. If any Syndicate Bank Manager asks for Address or ID Proof of Parents, you can tell them its not required as per the guidelines. If the Syndicate Bank Manager still insists, then immediately call 080-22863617 and lodge your complaint.
As per the MOU between Syndicate Bank & Govt. of Karnataka - Minority Welfare Department, the Syndicate Bank must accept the completely filled Format-2 for opening the Account and not ask for any Address or ID Proof.
If you have submitted the "Format-2" to any of the Syndicate Bank and even after 10 days you have not received the Scholarship Amount, immediately call 080-22863617 and inform them with the details of Branch Name and when you had submitted the application to Syndicate Bank so that further immediate action can be taken.
The Cluster Resource Person - CRP (Urdu) can also Counter Sign the Format-1 and Format-2 if its difficult or not possible to get the Block Education Officer (BEO) Signature.
It has been observed that the "Format-1 and Format-2" is not being fully filled. Hence School HM / Principal, Teachers, Parents and Students who are filling the Format-1 and Format-2 are requested to make sure that all the details, especially the Name, District Sl. No., Block Sl. No. and the Pre-Matric Permanent ID allotted to each student are filled clearly.
Students, School HM/Principal, Parents are also informed that they must make a note and keep the"PRE-MATRIC PERMANENT ID" allotted to each student. This Permanent ID is very important for sanction of scholarship this year and for reference in future.
Post-Matric Scholarship
It has been found that the students filling the Post Matric Scholarship ONLINE Transfer form are not mentioning their STATE ID & DISTRICT ID. The State ID and District ID is the ID given to each student in the sanctioned list of Post Matric Scholarhip 2011-12. Students are hereby informed to kindly check the State ID and District ID given next to their name in the list and write it. If the STATE ID and DISTRICT ID is not written, the student will not receive the scholarship.
Students are informed to download the Post Matric Scholarship ONLINE Transfer form, fill the details and send them at the earliest to Directorate of Minorities to receive the Scholarship Amount.
