ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP
The Student should have scored more than 50% marks in the previous semester / year final examination and should have no back logs till date.
Annual Income of the student’s Parents/Guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
The Students who have been sanctioned Post-Matric Scholarship FRESH / Renewal in 2012-13 are eligible for Renewal in 2013-14 if they have scored above 50% in previous semester / year final examination and studying in the same course.
IMPORTANT POINTS FOR STUDENTS BEFORE FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION
ENTER CORRECT DETAILS :
Kindly don’t hurry while filling the ONLINE APPLICATION. Enter all details Correctly.
QUALIFYING EXAM Marks :
(a). If you are studying in Class XI / 1st PUC or Class XII / 2nd PUC or Vocational Courses in I.T.I / I.T.C. or JOC or Polytechnic Diploma (Any Year) or Paramedical Diploma (Any Year) - The Qualifying Examination marks is the 10th std or SSLC marks.
(b).If you are Studying in D.Ed or D.Pharma or GNM or Graduation (Any Semester / Year) - The Qualifying Examination marks is the12th std or 2nd PUC marks.
(c). If you are studying in PG (Any Semester / Year) - The Qualifying Examination marks is the Final Semester / Year Degree marks.
(d). If you are studying in M.Phil or Ph.D (Any Semester / Year) - The Qualifying Examination Marks is the PG Marks.
If the Qualifying Exam Marks Card Photocopy or ONLINE Result Copy is not attached and if any discrepancy is found in the Qualifying Exam Marks filled ONLINE & the Photocopy of the Qualifying Marks Cards attached, such applications will be REJECTED.
BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS :
All Applicants FRESH & RENEWAL for Post Matric Scholarship 2013-14 must fill the details of the BANK ACCOUNT in the ONLINE Form. Hence before filling the ONLINE APPLICATION, students must keep the following details ready in hand – FULL BANK ACCOUNT NO. ( 12/14/16 digit), BANK NAME, BANK BRANCH ADDRESS & BANK BRANCH IFSC CODE to complete filling the form.
INCOME PROOF DOCUMENT :
Make sure that you have the Income Proof Document in your hand before entering the details ONLINE. If any discrepancy found in the Annul Income entered ONLINE and the Income Proof Document attached, such applications will be rejected.
COLLEGE FEE RECEIPT :
All applications must enter the FEE Receipt No., Date of Admission and Fee Receipt date. Hence keep the FEE Receipt in hand before filling the ONLINE Form.
FOR STUDENTS OF DHARWAD, MYSORE & TUMKUR DISTRICTS - AADHAR No. :
For Students whose Permanent Address is located in Dharwad, Mysore & Tumkur Districts filling the AADHAR No. is compulsory. Hence Such students must keep the Aadhar No. ready before filling the Application. They must also enter the same Bank Details as they have given for the AADHAR.
EMAIL ID & MOBILE No :
Every applicant will get a TEMPORARY ID for his/her application. This information is sent to the Email ID & Mobile No. entered. Kindly give correct Email ID & Mobile No.

HOW TO APPLY ?
Step 1 : Visit www.momascholarship.gov.in and click on the button “ Post Matric Scholarship”
Step 2 : Go to the Link “ Student Registration ” and Click on “ Student Registration ”
Step 3 : Follow the Steps and complete filling the ONLINE Form with correct details.
Step 4 : After entering all details, click on the SAVE Button & Verify all details entered.
Step 5 : If you are sure all details are correct, click on FINALIZE & SUBMIT Button.
Step 6 : Click on the Button PREVIEW / PRINT REPORT, you will see your 8 page Filled in Appln.
Step 7 : Download the Filled ONLINE Application and save it in your Computer.
Step 9 : Go to your College/Institution, get the details filled in Page 5 of the Hard Copy of the Appln.
Step 10 : Attach all documents required along with the HARD copy and Send it to Directorate of Minorities, 20th Floor, V.V. Towers, Bangalore – 560001 in person or by Post / Courier. Kindly write “APPLICATION FOR POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP 2013-14” on top of the Envelope.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SENT ALONG WITH HARD COPY OF ONLINE APPLICATION
Attested Photocopy of Qualifying Exam Marks Card or ONLINE Result Sheet .
Attested Photocopy of Marks Card of all previous exams passed from 10th / SSLC onwards.
Attested Photocopy of Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar or Original Income Affidavit in a Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs.20/
Attested photocopy of the Fee Receipt issued by the College for the current year.
1 Passport Size Recent Color photo to be Pasted on the 1st Page of the Hard Copy of the Appln.
Photocopy of the Bank Pass book (1st page) indicating A/C No. & IFSC Code etc.
For Students whose Permanent Address is located in Dharwad, Mysore & Tumkur Districts Only - Photocopy of the Aadhar Card / Acknowledgement has to be attached Compulsorily.
Please ensure all documents are firmly stapled or tied using a TAG in proper order.
If any of listed documents are not attached, the Application will be Rejected.
Applications received after LAST DATE will not be considered both for fresh & renewal.
Incomplete information in the application & incomplete documents will not be considered.

Last date for submission of duly signed printed version (hard copy) of online applications by students to the Directorate of Minorities 20th Floor, V.V.Tower, Bangalore-01, is 10th October 2013.
